Abstract
Abstract: Image enhancement techniques are used to improve an image, where “improve†is sometimes defined objectively. i.e increase the signal to noise ratio and sometimes subjectively i.e. make certain features easier to see by modifying the intensities. Main objective are a) Various techniques for noise removal. b) Periodic noise reduction by frequency domain filtering c) Detecting of noise by selecting the region of interest.
