A MAC PROTOCOL WHICH REDUCES THE QOS PARAMETERS LIKE ENERGY EFFICIENCYIN WSN
Main Article Content
Abstract
Energy efficiency and delay are the two important parameters to be considered in Wireless Sensor Networks. Wireless Sensor Networks need to have less delay and consume less energy. In this paper we compare the MAC protocol which is based on CSMA/CA with the S_MAC protocol which is based on event driven.Later we come to the conclusion that S_MAC protocol which is based on event driven consumes less energy than that of MAC protocol based on CSMA/CA.
