The Important Features that Improve Data Warehousing Performance

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to investigate the important features, which improve the performance of data warehouse technologies in
the market. Although a lot of research is going on to enhance the design and development of data warehouses, very little effort has
been spent on the maintenance side. Without proper maintenance data warehouse is not going to give the desired output which is expected of
it. DW has unique characteristics that may impact the importance of factors that apply to it. In this paper we will try to understand at present
available features being used by many companies today to improve the data Warehouse performance. We will try to find the common problems
faced. These kinds of problems are faced by data warehouse administrators which are minimizes response time and improves the efficiency of
data warehouse overall.
