Abstract

The air pollution and its resulting relationship with public health have gained increasing attention in the past decade. Many air pollution analyses have been conducted across the world. The study involves the air pollution analysis of pollutants involving Nitrogen oxide (NOx), Sulphur oxide (SOx), Suspended Particulate Matter (SPM), Respirable Suspended Particulate Matter (RSPM) against three major regions Narwal, Bari Brahmana and M.A Stadium of the Indian city of Jammu. The analysis involves the study of trend over a period of three years from January 2014 to December 2016. The analysis was done using statistical and machine learning tools. While time-series analysis was carried out for statistical cause, the regression model was developed for calculating the pollution concentration over the regions.
