Low Power ID Matching Wake-up Receiver for Wireless Sensor Networks
Main Article Content
Abstract
Access points of wireless sensor network (WSN) consume lots of energy during data communication but huge power consumption has been observed during active listing in idle mode. There are lots of solutions available in the literature for addressed issue but among all available techniques, Wake-up receiver found most effective in term of power utilizations. It works on the basis of ID matching, paper present 16 bits ID matching Wake-up receiver and consumes only 42.38mW power. Proposed model can be efficiently implemented over very large sensor networks. Wake up receiver can be used in several applications of Wireless sensor networks along with main transceiver. Keywords: wake-up receiver; wireless sensor network; low power; ID matching
