The major difficulty with handwritten text is the variability of writing styles, both between different writers and between separate samples from the same writer overtime. Handwritten character/Numeral recognition has received extensive attention in academics and production fields. This paper will act as guide and update for the readers, working in the Devanagari Optical Character Recognition area.
