Review on Security attacks and Countermeasures in Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract

Wireless sensor network consists of sensor nodes havingsensing and computation capabilities. Because of their availability and less cost than the traditional networks, they are widely used.As the demand of sensor networks increases, they are more prone to security attacks. There are many classifications of attacks and one of them is discussed in this paper. This paperdiscussesthe architecture of sensor network and sensor nodes, and then how wireless sensor networkdifferent from the traditional networks.After then, concept of Security in sensor networks is discussed. This paper presents one of the classifications of attacks in WSN and countermeasures of each attack are discussed with each attack.
