An Effectual Review on Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks

Abstract

Vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) is a hot research area since few years. Due to their unique characteristicssuch as high dynamic topology and predictable mobility, VANETs attract so much attention of both academia and industry. Inthis paper, we provide an overview of the main aspects of VANETs from a research perspective. This paper starts with the basicintroduction, architecture of VANET and discusses general research methodologies and ends up with the analysison challenges and pros & cons of VANETs.
